Storm Damage Causes Basement Flooding

When a storm hits, most of us find ourselves worrying about a beautiful old tree falling or dropping a limb on our house. And while that does happen, we often see basement flooding as a result of heavy rains.

If a basement is unfinished, the damage restoration is less involved after flooding than when it is finished, as was the case at this home. Fortunately, the carpeting in the family room was salvageable however the finished walls required partial removal along the bottom where they'd soaked up water. 

Fortunately, our team was able to respond to this job within hours and we had the basement dry and clean in no time at all.
