Washing Machine Leak Causes Water Damage
A washing machine pipe leaked in this Shelton home, causing water damage to the walls and floors of the home. After the water leak had been fixed by a plumber, the SERVPRO team went to work. We removed the sheetrock walls and the affected flooring. We placed dehumidifiers and air scrubbers in the room to remove the moisture.
There was quite a bit of damage to the structure behind the sheetrock and required cleaning with antimicrobial, antibacterial and sanitizing agents.
As always, we finished the job by disposing of the wet materials and cleaning up.
